Medium and dark brown plaited kangaroo leather romal reins. Reins are eight thongs plaited over ¼” leather core. Romal is twelve thongs plaited over 3/8” leather core. Set contains a total of ninety-nine visible buttons and many invisible groundwork buttons. Buttons include long, tapered pineapple buttons with herringbone interweave of contrasting color, gaucho buttons, Turk’s head buttons with herringbone interweave, long pineapple buttons with herringbone interweave of contrasting color and long pineapple buttons with gaucho interweave. Bridle leather popper is hand-stitched at eight stitches per inch and lined with dark brown goat leather. Plaited six thong rein and romal connectors have wear leathers underneath for durability. Connectors have two gaucho buttons and one Turk’s head button with herringbone interweave and reverse second interweave of contrasting color.
