Kangaroo leather is durable, lightweight, and retains a high tensile strength value. It has 10 times the tensile strength of cowhide and is 50% stronger than goat. These characteristics make kangaroo leather an excellent leather choice for gear and personal items. All kangaroo leather is stretched, hand cut to various widths, split to appropriate thickness and beveled. This kangaroo leather bosal is smooth and well formed with no rough edges to cause irritation.

Bosal cheeks have a diameter of 5/8” and are a 24 plait of falconry weight natural colored kangaroo leather. Nose button, side buttons, and heel knot all feature whisky, saddle tan, and red kangaroo leather in a continuous alternating sequence. Usually a nose button and a heel knot are constructed of one predominant color with a contrasting color only in the middle of button or knot. The continuous color sequence makes nose button and heel knot very unique. Lace alignment forms a definite straight “v” pattern throughout nose button, side buttons, and heel knot. A three pass Spanish ring knot is above heel knot.
